Arjen Robben’s father and agent, Hans Robben, admits he does not know whether his son will be a Real Madrid player next term.
The Spanish press have claimed that the Dutch winger, who has struggled with injuries during his two years at the Bernabéu, could be sold to finance more ambitious deals this summer.
"I have had a meeting with (Jorge) Valdano and (Miguel) Pardeza to speak about my son's future," Robben senior told AS.
"They have told me that they have not received any offers for Arjen.
"Arjen wants to stay and selling him would be difficult because Madrid paid €36 million to Chelsea for him."
When asked whether Valdano or Pardeza assured him that his son had a future at the club, he replied: "I cannot respond to that. But I can say that they said they were happy with him."
