Senderos hails Paolo Maldini

AC Milan defender Philippe Senderos has praised veteran Paolo Maldini as the legendary captain prepares for his final home match this weekend.
Maldini will finally retire this summer at the age of 40 and he is currently preparing to play his last match at the San Siro this Sunday against AS Roma.
And on-loan stopper Senderos has relished the chance to learn from the calcio legend.
He told Sky Italia: "It has been an honour playing with Maldini as he is part of the club's history.
"He has been the talisman of this club for many years and it will be hard for them to cope without him in future as he has such great influence in and out of the dressing room.
"Maldini gives you added motivation and he still has the drive to do his best at this age.
"Sometimes I am tired when I arrive for training in the morning, but Maldini is there to inspire me.
"I can never be negative with Maldini around because he is such an example."
