Barcelona defender Gerard Piqué has admitted that it would be a dream come true to face his old Manchester United pals in the Champions League final later this month.
The 22-year-old came through Barcelona’s youth system, but joined United in 2004 before returning to the Camp Nou last summer.
"I would like to thank United for the support they gave me," Piqué is quoted as saying in The Sun.
"I will always carry United in my heart. To play them in the final would be perfect.
"I had great friends in Manchester. I played with many world-class players and became good friends with Cristiano Ronaldo, Nemanja Vidić and Nani."
