Sir Alex Ferguson and Nemanja Vidić have been named Barclays Manager and Player of the Year respectively.
The Manchester United pair have been recognised after helping the club claim a third successive Premier League title.
The decision was made by the Barclays Awards Panel, which includes representatives from football’s governing bodies, the media and fans.
It is the ninth time Ferguson has received the accolade while Vidić collects his for the first time in his career.
The Serbian performed impressively in the United rearguard, not least during a record of 14 consecutive clean sheets in the Premier League.
That sequence came amid a 16-game unbeaten run from November to March which propelled Ferguson to his 11th Premier League title.
