Filippo Inzaghi bagged a hat-trick as AC Milan caught Juventus in second place after thrashing Torino 5-1 at the San Siro.
Inzaghi got the ball in the back of the net after nine minutes by nodding David Beckham's free kick, but the goal was ruled out for a clear offside.
It was only a warning, as four minutes later Inzaghi fired Milan ahead when he headed home Beckham's corner.
Inzaghi scored his second in the 37th minute when Beckham dummied a shot from outside the box, but instead lifted the ball right onto the head of Inzaghi, who simply diverted it into the top corner.
The veteran striker completed his hat-trick on the hour mark after being fed by Ronaldinho.
Kaká added a fourth from the penalty spot after Massimo Ambrosini had been brought down by Matteo Sereni on 68 minutes.
Ivan Franceschini grabbed a consolation for Torino on 80 minutes with practically their first chance of the evening.
But Ambrosini restored Milan's four-goal advantage with the last kick of the match.
