Injuries put Ledley King's future in doubt

Tottenham captain Ledley King admits his future at White Hart Lane is in doubt as the defender is incapable of playing two games in quick succession nowadays, with a persistent knee problem having left his joints in tatters.
The 28-year-old current deal expires at the end of next season but no negotiations have taken place as yet to prolong that agreement.
According to The Sun, one option for Spurs would be a pay-as-you-play deal as King’s knee problem will only get worse and games fewer.
"I’m not worried," he said. "To be honest I am just thinking about playing for the rest of the season and playing as many games as I can. The rest should take care of itself."
