Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri insists it is important to point out Sebastian Giovinco is not a replacement for veteran Pavel Nedvěd.
The 20-year-old inspired Juventus to a wonderful comeback to beat Bologna 4-1 on Saturday.
With Nedvěd injured, Giovinco has been repeatedly used on the left side of midfield and proved decisive.
Asked have Juve found the post-Nedvěd man for that position, the coach said to Sky Italia: "No. We have not found a new Nedvěd, we have found Giovinco.
"It is important to point out he is not a Nedvěd replacement. He moves in a very different way and that affects the movements of the whole midfield and attack.
"I have always said we shouldn't give Giovinco too much responsibility, but he is doing well, he has quality.
"The boy has talent and had already shown he could spark a reaction in the side during the last half-hour against Chelsea. We must give him time to grow."
