Argentine striker Hernán Crespo has announced he will leave Inter Milan in the summer, a development which is likely to attract many European and South American clubs who may want his services.

The 33-year-old struck the equaliser to earn the Nerazzurri a point against AS Roma in the exciting 3-3 draw on Sunday.

"After a difficult year, it's great to have scored such an important goal," admitted Crespo. "Things don't happen out of coincidence.

"That goal is the result of my daily hard work.

"But in June, without a doubt, I will change team.

"At this point it has become clear to me that this is the only solution as facts speak louder than words."

Crespo, whose contract with Inter comes to an end in May, has been frustrated with his lack of playing time under coach José Mourinho, having only started one game out of 10 league matches this season and excluded of Inter’s 25-man Champions League squad.

He added: "I always accept the coach's decision. It's not my style to create problems.

"I am a serious professional, who works 24 hours a day and who gives his soul to reach his aims."
