Spain defender Raúl Albiol has admitted he would welcome a move to the Premier League should he leave Valencia.
The Spanish outfit are in the midst of a cash crisis and may have to sell some of their most prized assets this summer.
The 23-year-old versatile centre-back, who can also play in midfield, had previously stated he was keen to remain at the Mestalla, but while he is happy with Los Che he has not ruled out a move to England at some point.
He told Sky Sports: "If I leave Valencia I would only go to a big club.
"The Premier League could be perfect because I have always been a fan of the football they play.
"But I am happy in Valencia at the moment."
Albiol still has two more years to run on his current contract with reports suggesting that the cash-strapped Valencia may listen to offers in the region of €20 million.
"The situation has not changed and we are obliged to sell players," Valencia's sporting director Fernando Gómez stated.
"We know of the English interest but we have not received a formal offer for Raúl."
