With his loan deal at AC Milan running out in the summer, Andriy Shevchenko's future is uncertain and the 2004 Ballon d'Or winner revealed he will return to London for talks with Chelsea.

The Ukrainian is currently back on loan at his beloved Milan giants having two troubled seasons in London following his £30 million move in 2006.

Shevchenko has started only two matches since he returned to the Rossoneri, and now the 32-year-old striker admits he is likely to return to Stamford Bridge this summer.

He told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "I don’t regret anything. I needed to refresh myself physically and that’s what I’ve done at Milan.

"I haven’t been used, but I have made myself available. When I returned I said I’d have accepted anything.

"I knew no-one would do me any favours, and I knew that I would be the last striker in the team.

"I’ll behave as a professional until the end, then I’ll return to London. I’ll live in London, but I don’t know where football will take me next season.

"I will speak to Chelsea and we will make a decision."
