Nolan completes Newcastle switch

Newcastle have wrapped up the £4 million signing of former Bolton captain Kevin Nolan.
Bolton accepted a bid from Toon boss Joe Kinnear on Thursday and the midfielder travelled to the North East to discuss personal terms and have a medical.
Those talks and procedures were relatively straightforward and the player has put pen to paper on a four-and-a-half-year deal at St James' Park.
The former Bolton trainee, who spent nine years at the Reebok Stadium as a professional, believes many see him as 'Mr Bolton', but it is a tag he is keen to shed after joining the Magpies.
He told the club's official website: "I don't think it's about re-establishing myself, it's about proving that I wasn't just a Bolton player.
"Everyone saw me as 'Mr Bolton', if you like, and it is about going to that next level and showing people what I am all about.
"Hopefully, I can do that, and I thank Newcastle for giving me that opportunity.
"Just walking into the dining room there and seeing how many players were there and what a talented squad we have got, it's just unbelievable.
"It is hopefully going to raise my level of performance and raise my game, and it's down to me now to get my head down and work hard to get into this Newcastle team as quickly as possible."
