Crespo: I'm done with the Premier League

Inter Milan striker Hernán Crespo has declined rumours of him joining Tottenham and insists he will not leave Inter mid-season.

The 33-year-old has been linked with a bid from Spurs after manager Harry Redknapp was seen at Inter's Coppa Italia win over Genoa earlier in the week.

The rumoured move would spell a return to London for the Argentine, who had a mixed time at Chelsea under José Mourinho.

But Crespo, who will become a free agent when his contract expires in the summer, admits he has no intention of returning to London or Premier League.

He told Studio Sport: "Would I go back to the Premier League? No, I've done my bit.

"If have to consider what has happened overall, I'd say that if given the chance to leave Inter in the summer then I would have gone. I really doubt I'll quit mid-season, though.

"I think that I can end the campaign better than in the last six months, that is what I hope for. I work every day to work hard and improve so I can find space in the side."
