AC Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf has put his Premier League suitors on alert by expressing his love for the English game.

The 32-year-old Dutchman would like to play in England before closing his incredible career.

Seedorf, the only player to win the Champions League with three different clubs, snubbed a number of opportunities to make the switch during his prime years, but he has been thoroughly impressed by the competition's improvement in recent times.

"I would love to play in the Premier League," Seedorf told BBC Sport. "Which player wouldn't? It's one of the best leagues in the world. I'm happy at AC Milan but I never say never.

"The development of the Premier League over the last five years has been incredible. That is without even mentioning the stadiums, the atmosphere and the crowd. That has always been fantastic.

"Now, in the last years of my career, I am looking at it and of course it is attractive."
