Former Arsenal legend Dennis Bergkamp has admitted he could take up the role of Ajax youth coach next season.
The 39-year-old has been working alongside first-team coach Marco van Basten this term as he takes his coaching badges.
With those courses now almost complete, he admits that he is keen to pass on his considerable experience to the next generation of superstars at the Amsterdam Arena.
"There are possibilities at Ajax. We must see how things will work out," Bergkamp told depers.nl with regard to next term.
Bergkamp, who has been working with both the youth-team and first-team squads at Ajax, has enjoyed seeing football from a different angle since his retirement in 2006.
"That gives me satisfaction," he said. "It's fun to see things from the other side now.
"Normally I trained, but now I see how a training session is achieved.
"You start thinking about football in a different way."
