Sammy Ameobi scored his first Premier League goal just seven seconds into the second-half as Newcastle United came from behind to win 2-1 at Tottenham Hotspur.
After being on the back-foot for much of the first-half and trailing at the break to Emmanuel Adebayor's header, Newcastle desperately needed a moment of inspiration.
Alan Pardew made a double change at the break with Ameobi and Rémy Cabella replacing Gabriel Obertan and Vurnon Anita, and three passes, five touches, seven seconds later Ameobi levelled.
From the kick-off, Jack Colback pinged an inch-perfect diagonal pass beat Spurs right-back Eric Dier and found Ameobi in the left channel.
With Dier cut out of the picture, the 22-year-old kept his cool and drilled left-footed past Hugo Lloris to send 2,200 travelling fans in the corner into raptures.
The goal came so quickly that Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino and many of his substitutes were not even back at their seats for the second-half.
And Newcastle turned the game on its head just before the hour when Cabella crossed for Ayoze Pérez to nod in the winner.
"The goal changed everything," Pochettino said after the game. "It changed the energy, changed us and changed them. They started to believe and play their game.
"It was difficult because our heads had gone and everything we spoke about in the dressing room was lost."
