A Brazilian woman has become a minor internet star overnight after she correctly predicted that Germany would beat the Seleção 7-1.
44-year-old Anna Guerra told Brazilian media outlet Lance! that she woke up on Tuesday morning to have a conversation with her husband Silvio Rod, 46, only to realise that he was sleepwalking as they were talking.
Not wishing to wake him up from his sleep, Anna engaged Silvio talking about the night's football.
Anna started the conversation saying "Today is the World Cup," to which Silvio replied "It's game over."
She then asked "Who won?", he said "Germany." Anna then asked "What the scoreline was", and her husband replied "7-1."
Following the random prediction, Anna enter her sweepstake with the 7-1 scoreline, which she also posted online to prove the authenticity of her story.
Unfortunately the bet was only for small money, with Anna winning R$ 200,00, or around £55.
