Vincent Kompany has put a shirt he wore in Belgium's opening World Cup match against Algeria up for sale on eBay to raise money for charities he supports.
The Belgium and Manchester City skipper put the shirt on the online auction site at one euro, but had risen to €4,350 at the time of writing. The auction ends on Saturday.
The proceeds of the auction would go to BX Brussels, the small club in his hometown in which he has invested, and to SOS Children's Villages, which promotes child care, education and health in developing countries.
