A Merseyside recruitment agency claims they have been chosen to supply the stewards to work on a victory parade through the streets of Liverpool when the Premier League title is won.
The slightly premature event has been planned for May 12 and recruitment agency Blue Arrow is already recruiting stewards to help ensure safety at the parade.
The advert reads: "We are pleased to announce that we have been chosen to supply temporary stewards for the Winners Parade to take place on May 12th if Liverpool FC win the football league.
"The role of the stewards is to help maintain the crowds along the planned route for the winner's bus, to ensure the smooth running to what will be a fantastic day!"
The job advertisement was apparently posted before Liverpool's defeat to Chelsea last weekend.
Liverpool are currently top of the Premier League, but the title race is out of their hands. If Manchester City win their remaining games against Aston Villa, Everton, and West Ham, they will be crowned champions bar a sizeable shift in goal difference.
