Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata has given fans the chance to snap up a pair of his brand new boots as part of a PR stunt for an adidas marketing campaign.
The Spaniard tweeted to his followers that he would give his brand new adidas Predator boots to the first person who rushes to claim them.
Mata left the boots on the Holy Trinity statue of United legends George Best, Sir Bobby Charlton, and Denis Law outside Old Trafford.
One fan Joe Williamson reacted quickly, and sped down to Sir Matt Busby Way to collect his prize.
