Goal of the day: Gary Fraser (Partick Thistle) vs Hearts
Table of Contents
Gary Fraser scored a blinder as Partick Thistle came back from a goal down twice to win 4-2 at already-relegated Hearts and seal their Premiership safety.
Callum Paterson opened the scoring for the hosts before Lyle Taylor squared it, but Danny Wilson nodded Hearts back in front before the break.
Fraser then thundered in an unbelievable goal to level the scores in the 51st minute.
The 19-year-old picked up a loose ball 30 yards out and unleashed a ferocious drive that flashed past Mark Ridgers and into the top corner.
Lee Mair then put the visitors ahead for the first time in the match before Kallum Higginbotham sealed the points.
"I don't think I'll score a better goal than the one tonight," Fraser told the club's website.
"I had a wee bit of space just to take a touch so I did and just tried to hit it as hard as I could. As soon as the ball left my foot I knew exactly where it was going to end up."
Thistle manager Alan Archibald added: "You just need a reaction from somebody who can drive all of us on and Gary Fraser stood out for me the most.
"He's had a long season but his goal was just fantastic. He's a young guy and, to come through the season he's had and score a goal like that is just excellent."
