Jesús Manuel Cedenilla - one of the best players in Real Madrid's academy system - has announced that he is now fully recovered from the cancer that was detected last summer.
The 15-year-old was diagnosed with cancer back in July and immediately underwent treatment and finally had surgery last month.
Now, a month after surgery, Cedenilla announced via his official Twitter account that he has won his six-month battle and is now cancer free.
He wrote: "This is the best news I could've gotten. I'M CURED. No more cancer, all gone. The surgery went really well and they got it all. It's over now".
"Thank you all for the support. All that's needed now is to spend a fantastic Christmas surrounded by friends and family and then come back stronger than ever" is how Manuel signed off.
Having beaten cancer, his next goal is to keep fighting and playing football again.
