Nicklas Bendtner scored his first goal for Arsenal since March 2011 as the Gunners secured a 2-0 victory over Hull City at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday.
The Dane was handed his first start in the top flight for Arsenal in 1,005 days to give leading forward Olivier Giroud a rest.
Amazingly, the 25-year-old striker took just 90 seconds to get on the scoresheet.
Smart interplay between Tomáš Rosický and Aaron Ramsey saw the Welshman release Carl Jenkinson down the right and his pinpoint cross was met with a bullet header from Bendtner.
It was Bendtner's first Arsenal goal since his hat-trick against Leyton Orient in an FA Cup tie on March 2011.
The hosts eventually doubled their lead at the start of the second half through Mesut Özil.
"We know that when he has the mind of the game, he has the qualities. I believe tonight he had a good game," Arsenal boss Arsène Wenger told a press conference.
"He has the stature, he has good technical quality, he has quite good pace. Look, we had him as a boy of 15 or 16 and I made him sign a long contract twice so that means I always believed in his qualities."
