Mino Raiola, the representative of AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli, has denied rumours linking his client with a move away from the Rossoneri this winter.
The Italy international had been linked with a move back to the Premier League after Raiola was quoted as saying in The National that Balotelli "wishes to leave Milan in January," with "Chelsea is an option."
Those claims followed a report in Il Secolo XIX on Saturday morning, suggesting President Silvio Berlusconi had transfer listed Balotelli after a bust-up with the madcap forward.
Since then though, it has been claimed that the news in fact false, and Milan have released a statement on the club's official website to dismiss the rumours.
"AC Milan deny absolutely and with strength the declarations that would have been referred to the Milan President about an unthinkable collocation of Mario Balotelli on the market," read a club statement.
"Mario Balotelli is and remains a Milan player."
And Raiola has also reiterated the club's stance that the 23-year-old is not for sale.
"I haven't spoken with anyone," he told reporters. "They are liars, and it's low-level journalism.
"I agree with what Milan's official website wrote about Balotelli not being for sale in January."
