After a goalless opening period at White Hart Lane, the visitors scored three times in 13 minutes with Winston Reid tapping home the opener and Ricardo Vaz Tê doubling the advantage.

The best was saved for last, though, as Morrison secured three points for Sam Allardyce's men with a fantastic solo goal.

The 20-year-old midfielder picked the ball up inside his own half before racing towards the Spurs area.

Morrison ran past Jan Vertonghen and Michael Dawson with breathtaking ease before dinking the ball past Hugo Lloris with admirable calm.

"There was a bit of outstanding genius from Ravel Morrison," Allardyce told West Ham TV.

"You'd be hard-pushed to see a better goal than that this season, let alone this month."
