There was a very unlucky effort in the Asian Champions League match between Qatari club Lekhwiya and Chinese outfit Guangzhou Evergrande on Wednesday.
Chasing the tie after losing the first leg of their Asian Champions League quarter final, Lekhwiya kept their chins up and kept going against Marcello Lippi's Chinese Super League champions.
But Eric Gerets' men fell two goals down after sixteen minutes, and their dreadful luck was summed up midway through the first half when they managed to hit the crossbar three times in the space of three seconds.
First off a shot from the right wing crashed against the woodwork, the follow-up header did exactly the same, and then the second rebound also hit the bar.
