Barcelona new boy Neymar hit his first goal in a Blaugrana shirt in a 7-1 demolition of Thailand at the Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok on Wednesday.
The match was the first encounter that saw Neymar start alongside Lionel Messi.
Neymar opened his account for Barcelona after only 11 minutes into the game.
The Brazilian forward showed great awareness to prod home Cesc Fàbregas' drilled low cross from a few yards out.
And the floodgates opened soon after with the Catalan giants scoring four more before half-time.
Messi scored two of the goals but even he was upstaged by Pedro, who scored a hat-trick before Alexis Sánchez finished the scoring in front of 48,000 fans.
"Friendly games like these help me to see different possibilities, variations, but clearly the idea is that (Neymar) progresses," Barça coach Gerardo Martino told reporters. "From the game against Santos to today he has improved.
"The connection between Neymar and Leo was the most interesting thing about the game. They connected well, they scored, but they also linked up well with the other players."
