With his brace, including a Goal of the Year-caliber strike, Federico Higuaín gave the Columbus Crew a 2-0 home win over Toronto FC on Saturday.
The hosts opened the scoring in the 19th minute when Higuaín pounced home a deflected shot by Bernardo Añor.
Columbus put the result away in the 67th minute with an exquisite chip from Higuaín.
Jairo Arrieta collected the ball in midfield and he laid the ball off to Higuaín just outside the box.
Toronto gave Higuaín space and the Argentine floated a perfectly-placed chip over the futile effort of Toronto goalkeeper Joe Bendik, who was only a few yards off his line.
"The second goal was an unbelievable goal," Columbus coach Robert Warzycha said after the match.
"He does something every day that people love to see at the stadiums.
"I remember a lot of goals but it's obviously something special that I will always remember."
Columbus midfielder Wil Trapp added: "It is hard to be surprised. That one was just unbelievable today. I think my jaw dropped a little bit when it went in."
