Dirk Kuyt will be out of action for a while after needing stitches in his face following a nasty training collision with Dutch teammate Jonathan de Guzmán earlier this week.
The accident happened during training on Tuesday ahead of a friendly with Portugal on Wednesday.
Kuyt and de Guzmán unwittingly crashed into each other with full force during a session focusing on passing and moving.
Unsurprisingly, neither player played in the following day's friendly against Portugal.
The incident saw de Guzmán ruled out of Swansea City's Premier League opener against Manchester United on Saturday with suspected concussion, while Kuyt required a number of stitches in his face.
