Colombian Football Federation president Luis Bedoya was spotted on live TV trying to pocket a Copa Libertadores medal while he thought nobody was looking.
Atlético Mineiro won the Libertadores title on Wednesday night after beating Olimpia 4-3 on penalties, but one unlucky player nearly lost out on his medal because of Bedoya's alleged antics.
As the players made their way onto the stage to collect their medals, Bedoya was recorded sneakily wrapping up a medal in his hand in a prelude to putting it in his pocket.
Embarrassingly, the president was caught in the act by an organizer on the platform.
Bedoya quickly ditched his apparent plans to trouser the memento, moving it away from his pocket and unfurling the ribbon once again.
