Lionel Messi and Neymar will play with each other at Barcelona next season, but were on opposite sides for a charity match between Messi XI and World XI in Lima.

And Neymar eclipsed Messi, who were both wearing No 10 for the match, by scoring a stunning 45-yard lob.

In the second-half of the game, Neymar received the ball 45-yards out and, without a moment's hesitation, blasted a superb strike that totally bamboozled Uruguay goalkeeper Fernando Muslera.

It was the final goal of the game which Messi's side emerged as 8-5 winners.

The likes of Daniel Alves, Ezequiel Lavezzi, Javier Mascherano, and Éric Abidal all played in the match which helped raise money for Messi's foundation that offers support to children and teenagers around the world.
