Referee Mark Clattenburg was left red-faced when he couldn't find his cards early in the second half of the Reading vs Liverpool match on Saturday.
The bizarre moment came in the 50th minute when Danny Guthrie pulled back Daniel Sturridge and was about to be booked.
Reaching for his pocket, Clattenburg suddenly discovered he had left his notebook – and red and yellow cards – back in the dressing room.
Upon realizing his error, the embarrassed official was forced to halt the game and sprinted over to the fourth official to pick up another set of cards.
