Swarm of bees halts football match in Brazil

A football match between Ponte Preta and Atlético Sorocaba in the Brazilian league last weekend almost didn't get started after a bunch of bees congregated on the crossbar.
The group of bees began settling on the crossbar at the Moisés Lucarelli Stadium on Saturday morning, and by the time kick-off came about the number had grown exponentially.
A flame was unsuccessful in getting rid of them, so a pair of men in white suits had to first use fire extinguishers on the bees before bagging and removing them.
For a final touch, the bee people blasted away any remaining traces with a fire extinguisher.
The nuisance caused a 15 minute delay, and when the game did get underway, Preta snatched a 2-1 victory.
