Blooper! Steward Ceus (Colorado) blunder vs FC Dallas

The MLS season kicked off on Saturday night, and Colorado Rapids goalkeeper Steward Ceus made the highlights for all the wrong reasons.
Just 11 minutes into the opening half of Rapids' game at FC Dallas, hosts midfielder David Ferreira lobbed in a pass from midfield beyond towards the Rapids goal.
As the ball bounced 10 yards in front of the box, Ceus decided to come off the goal line to track down the ball.
Ceus, playing in place of injured starter Matt Pickens, had come so far off his line that as he was about to catch the bouncing ball, he realized he had stepped outside the box and he could not touch the ball with his hands.
So, he let the ball bounce over his head into the box, where Dallas midfielder Jackson collected the ball and put the ball in the net for arguably the easiest goal of his career.
It would prove to be the only goal in the game.
"I remember that David and I work a lot on giving him the option and him giving me the pass. I saw the defender and just took off," said Jackson after the match.
"When I saw that the ball was bouncing I didn't expect the mistake by the goalkeeper, but I was ready for it. I still had to be careful though because it became too easy."
Ceus, who surrendered just his second MLS goal in his four appearances, added: "Just the skip on the ball, I didn't expect it, I came out to play the ball too early.
"It was a bad skip for me. It happens and what you have to do is bounce back and play the 80 other minutes."
