Mor Diouf's 88th minute strike from within his own half earned SuperSport United a 1-0 victory over Pretoria rivals Mamelodi Sundowns on Sunday.
With the match heading for a draw, Diouf stepped up and settled the match in dramatic fashion.
The Senegalese defender picked up the ball deep inside his own half and looked to be clearing a Sundowns attack.
Instead, he spotted Sundowns goalkeeper Wayne Sandilands off his line and hit his effort goalwards, lofting over Sandilands' desperate attempt to get back and slotted neatly into the bottom right corner.
"It's something that wins games as tight as this," SuperSport coach Gavin Hunt said after the game.
"Once he hit it, I knew it was a goal because I saw where the goalkeeper was and he hit it sweetly."
