A first-half wonder strike by Thabo Matlaba set South Africa on their way to a 2-0 win over Central African Republic in their World Cup qualifier on Saturday.
Dominating the contest early in Cape Town, South Africa went ahead in the 33rd minute thanks to a moment of sheer brilliance from Matlaba.
The Orlando Pirates full-back whipped in a dipping strike from about 25-yards out which cleanly sailed into the top right corner.
And South Africa wrapped up the victory with 20 minutes to go from a left footed strike by Bernard Parker.
"We have players who are capable of scoring from anywhere on the pitch, and it was nice seeing him striking the ball from that far!" said Bafana Bafana skipper Itumeleng Khune.
