Georgios Samaras climbed off the bench to score a sensational last-gasp winner and give Glasgow Celtic a 4-3 win over Aberdeen at Celtic Park.
Aberdeen had thought they were cruising to a shock victory on Saturday after goals from Scott Vernon and a Josh Magennis double had cancelled out a Kris Commons opener after 12 seconds.
But Charlie Mulgrew pulled one back and Gary Hooper fired them level just three minutes from the end before Samaras truly shattered Craig Brown's men.
Four minutes into injury time, Aberdeen captain Russell Anderson gifted Celtic a free-kick outside the area.
Commons took the free-kick and sent the ball to the back post where Lassad Nouioui nodded the ball back into the center of the box.
Samaras reacted quickly and guided a beautiful overhead kick past Jamie Langfield and into the corner of the net, sparking incredible scenes of joy around the stadium.
"It was a great goal for the team," Samaras told journalists.
"We showed great character to come back, it is something special so well done to all the boys.
"Sometimes we play bad and lose, sometimes we play bad and win, but nothing can compare with this game.
"It is the most exciting win of my time here, I think. The way the game went said it all."
