Mansfield Town chairman John Radford gave his Aston Martin car to manager Paul Cox as a gift after Saturday's 8-1 demolition job of Barrow.
Prior to Saturday's Conference match, Radford, 56, who is also the club's owner, offered to give Cox his Aston Martin DB9 if Mansfield could score five goals in the first half.
And the keys to the £85,000 Vantage Coupe were handed over after Adam Murray made the scoreline 5-1 at half-time.
Mansfield, who have claimed maximum points in their last four outings, ended up beating Barrow 8-1 to equal the club's biggest ever home win in 116 years of football.
"I'm not sure if it's a wind-up. Maybe I'll get to the car park and find a bike with some stabilisers on it," Cox joked after the match.
Far from it. The car was there, gleaming in the car park, complete with personalised registration MT51 COX.
