Hartley & Poole score for Hartlepool

English League One club Hartlepool United made the headlines on Saturday when the aptly-named Hartley and Poole scored to give their side a vital 2-1 win over Notts County.
It's believed to be the first time two players with monikers that make up the name of their of their team have scored in the same game.
Striker James Poole opened the scoring in the fifth minute before Jamal Campbell-Ryce levelled for County early in the second half.
But defender Peter Hartley headed in a free kick on 70 minutes to give the North East club only their second home win of the season.
Sky Sports pundit and Hartlepool fan Jeff Stelling chuckled as he read out the scorers on Soccer Saturday, saying: "Just can't write this stuff."
