Goal of the day: Gareth Bale (Tottenham) vs West Brom

Gareth Bale netted another stunning goal with his trusted left-foot to hand Tottenham Hotspur a 1-0 win over 10-man West Bromwich Albion on Sunday.
A close encounter at The Hawthorns swung in Spurs' favour three minutes into the second half when West Brom defender Goran Popov was shown a straight red card for spitting at Kyle Walker.
The hosts' reduction to 10 men did plenty to change the match and Spurs were able to make their numerical advantage count on 67 minutes.
Bale received a short pass from the onrushing Walker, skipped inside James Morrison and rifled a 20-yard thunderbolt beyond Ben Foster and into the top corner of the net.
It was the Welshman's 11th goal of the season which lifted his club into fourth place, just four points behind Chelsea with a game in hand.
"Our goals come from different sources and once again Bale has done the business," said Spurs boss André Villas-Boas.
