Table of Contents
Glasgow Celtic forward Gary Hooper bagged his 16th goal of the season with a sublime lob to seal a 2-0 victory over Dundee at Dens Park.
Georgios Samaras sent Celtic on their way to a fifth consecutive league victory with an overhead kick 16 minutes into a one-sided first half.
Dundee made a game of it after the break but Hooper showed touch and technique in the 71st minute to secure the points.
His run beyond Declan Gallagher was spotted by substitute Mikael Lustig, who pinged the ball up the inside right channel.
The Englishman killed the pass brilliantly on his toe before lifting the ball over Robert Douglas and into the net from 12 yards out.
"His finish was just ridiculous. It was a really great goal and it made sure we won," Celtic captain Scott Brown said after the match.
