400 Bilbao fans went to Budapest instead of Bucharest for Europa League final

Around 400 fans of Spanish club Athletic Bilbao missed the Europa League cup final after mistakenly flying to the Hungarian capital, Budapest, instead of the Romanian capital, Bucharest.
Spanish TV channel Antena 3 reports that the barmy Basques ended up in vaguely-similar-sounding Budapest, only to discover that the match was taking place 500 miles away and in a completely different country.
The group of fans then attempted to make their way to the final on Wednesday but were unable to locate Bucharest on the map and failed to make it to watch the game.
The embarrassed supporters were openly mocked as news of their plight travelled to Bucharest's National Stadium, with the stadium announcer declaring, "Good evening, Budapest, and welcome to the Europa League final," to a jeering crowd.
However, the dozy Bilbao fans might be glad they missed their side's crushing defeat to fellow Spaniards Atlético Madrid, who romped to a comprehensive 3-0 victory.
