Barcelona secured a fifth successive Champions League semi-final berth with a 3-1 victory over AC Milan at the Camp Nou.
After a 0-0 draw in the San Siro, Lionel Messi fired the hosts in front with just 11 minutes gone when he drilled low into the corner to Christian Abbiati's right, having been felled by Luca Antonini inside the area.
Antonio Nocerino gave Milan hope of causing an upset when he put the visitors ahead on away goals with his leveler in the 32nd minute.
But the Serie A side then shot themselves in the foot, with Alessandro Nesta penalised for a blatant pull on Sergio Busquets' shirt, allowing Messi to calmly score his record 14th goal of the competition this season.
And five minutes later Barca had the two-goal cushion they craved when Messi's effort was deflected into the path of Andrés Iniesta, who picked his spot inside the far corner.
