Table of Contents
Aston Villa mounted a stirring comeback against Chelsea but eventually they were beaten 4-2 at Villa Park.
The Blues appeared to be cruising toward a comfortable away victory after goals from Daniel Sturridge and Branislav Ivanović gave them a two-goal lead.
However, Villa drew level after scoring twice in quick succession with just a few minutes remaining following quick-fire efforts from James Collins and Eric Lichaj.
But Ivanović struck again to restore the lead before Fernando Torres made sure of the victory with his first Premier League goal for six months.
