Juan Cuadrado scored a sensational solo effort as Lecce fought back from a goal down to win 4-1 against fellow strugglers Siena at the Stadio Via del Mare on Sunday.
Cristiano Del Grosso gave Siena the lead in the 25th minute but Luis Muriel leveled seven minutes later.
Veteran striker David Di Michele put Lecce in front in the 68th from the penalty spot before Cuadrado sealed the result with a fantastic solo effort eight minutes from time.
With Siena committing men forward, the home team hit them on the counter-attack with Cuadrado running over 60 yards from deep in his own half and still showing the composure, after beating the last Siena defender, to chip the ball over goalkeeper Gianluca Pegolo and into the net.
Lecce lost Manuele Blasi to a red card in the final minute, but it proved no setback for the hosts as Davide Brivio still managed to add a fourth with a rasping free-kick just before the whistle.
