Robin van Persie bagged a hat-trick as ruthless Arsenal hammered 10-man Blackburn Rovers 7-1 at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners captain tapped home in the opening two minutes before a spectacular free-kick from Morten Gamst Pedersen restored parity shortly after the half-hour mark.
Van Persie restored Arsenal's lead on 38 minutes before turning provider with a sumptuous pass to feed in Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for the third two minutes later.
