Newcastle United ace Hatem Ben Arfa scored his first FA Cup goal in a 2-1 win over Blackburn Rovers with a goal that even Lionel Messi would have been proud of.
David Goodwillie gave the visitors a 35th-minute lead when he bundled the ball home from close range after Tim Krul had parried Grant Hanley's header.
But the home side were back in the game with Ben Arfa's outrageous equaliser 20 minutes from time.
The Frenchman a swathe through the Blackburn team with a breathtaking mazy run before lashing a ferocious close range, near post, shot into the roof of Mark Bunn's net.
Toon manager Alan Pardew said after the game: "It is the greatest goal I have ever seen with my own eyes.
"Technically it was superb – left foot, right foot, in, out and then a great finish.
"You can volley into the corner or smash a goal from 40 yards, but to score a goal like that you need to be a special talent.
"It was an unbelievable goal and I am delighted for him after all the problems he has had with injuries and other things."
The winner came deep in injury time when Jonás Gutiérrez exchanged passes with striker Leon Best before dinking the ball over Bunn to book Newcastle's place in the next round.
