Premier League: Liverpool 0-0 Swansea
Table of Contents
Liverpool were held to a draw for the second consecutive home match against a newly-promoted team following a goalless but entertaining draw with Swansea City.
The hosts should have taken a first-half lead on six minutes when striker Andy Carroll smashed a thunderous six-yard shot against the Swansea crossbar with the goal at his mercy.
It did not get much better for the Anfield crowd from then on, with the Reds missing a number of chances in a disjointed performance against the Premier League newcomers.
