David Beckham has tried his hand at a blind game of five-a-side football in his first advert as the new face of Sainsbury's.
The advert features a blindfolded Beckham being put through a series of drills by Dave Clarke, who captained ParalympicsGB's five-a-side football team at the 2008 Beijing Games.
And the former Manchester United superstar managed to impress, scoring a penalty despite wearing the regulation blindfold.
The advert is in aid of Sainsbury's 1 Million Kids Challenge, which encourages children of all abilities to take part in Paralympic sports before the 2012 Games.
"It has been a fantastic experience training with the ParalympicsGB five-a-side football squad as I have never experienced or participated in blind football before," said Beckham.
"They are a real testament to the quality of our Paralympic athletes. The character and determination they show by doing this every single day, makes me proud to be British."
Schools can sign up to join the Sainsbury's Million Kids Challenge, designed to allow kids of all ages and abilities to try out a London 2012 Paralympic sport ahead of the Games in 2012 by visiting www.sainsburys.co.uk/1millionkids/
