Iranian footballer hides cocaine in Quran

Iran international Amou Lashgarian Hassan is set to become the new posterchild for cocaine in football for where he hid it: his copy of the Quran.
Ansa reports that the 27-year-old was arrested for trying to smuggle 690 grams of cocaine into Italy shortly after arriving at Milan's Malpensa airport on Friday morning.
Police believe the drugs arrived in Milan having left the United Kingdom before passing through the Netherlands and into Italy.
Two other Iranian nationals were also arrested as part of a joint investigation between Interpol and the DCSA (Italian anti-drugs enforcement agency).

The "haboo" cocaine, with an estimated street value of 250,000 euros, was allegedly found stuffed in sandals as well as the Quran belonging to Hassan.
