Manchester City put a tough week behind them in some style as they eased to a 4-0 victory at ailing Blackburn Rovers.
Adam Johnson broke the deadlock on 56 minutes with a superb finish into the top corner and Mario Balotelli added a second three minutes later when he nipped in front of Scott Dann at the front post to volley the ball home.
Substitute Samir Nasri swept home City's third on 73 minutes after good work from David Silva before fellow substitute Stefan Savić nodded home unmarked to wrap up a convincing victory for the visitors.
